About Us...

Forgotten Fabrics are father & daughter Richard & Holly Burgess. We have had an interest in 20th century design for what seems like forever and have been collecting for over 25 years. From art deco ceramics & home ware, our interests have progressed onto mid century modern.

With our love of fabrics from this period growing, Forgotten Fabrics was born to share this with you (and to stop the ever increasing personal collection taking over our homes). We offer a hand picked range of textiles from named designer pieces, to grandma's 1950s kitchen curtains.

We have been lucky to source fabric from many different places and have been on buying trips to California and Eastbourne!

Not wanting to neglect our smaller pieces of fabric we have had these made into high quality hand made cushions, with styles to complement any interior setting.

We regularly display at Showhomes Mid Century Modern shows at Dulwich and Bexhill on Sea. Take a look at our "Where to Find Us" page for details of up and coming shows.
